Newbrook Lock is located close to Kilclare on the Shannon-Erne waterway.

 Newbrook Lock is just one of 16 Locks on the Shannon-Erne waterway, which is managed by Waterways Ireland.

The canal is 63 km (39 miles) in length, and runs from Leitrim Village in County Leitrim to Upper Lough Erne in County Fermanagh.
