The Cornmill Theatre is the home of the Corn Mill Theatre Company in Carrigallen, where there is a long tradition of drama dating back to the late 1800’s.

The present group was founded in 1963 and has competed on the drama festival circuit since 1970, reaching the All-Ireland Open Finals on twenty-one occasions.

In addition to its extensive and varied programme of entertainment that includes drama, variety shows, music and poetry events, this intimate theatre hosts an annual One Act Festival every November.
