Castlefore lake runs along the road for a considerable distance and provides terrific catches including bream, hybrids, roach and tench. Locals recommend pre-baiting as a means of filling your keep net.

Access is excellent along the road side with new fishing stands and there are a few places along the facing bank, though anglers rarely venture across.

From Keshcarrigan take the R209 towards Fenagh and the lake is approximately two miles on your right hand side.
