Through a series of multi-activity trails on and alongside water, the Shannon-Erne Blueway provides a scenic perspective into the heart of the Irish landscape.

With leisurely strolls, gentle paddles, and carefree cycling you can get immersed in your own Blueway experience.

These multi-use trails meander alongside the tranquil water of the Shannon-Erne, with the picturesque village of Ballinamore at the Centre.

You can choose to walk or cycle, and pick either an 8km linear trail, or a 4.5 km looped trail. The longest of the two trails takes you from Bailyduff (Lock 7) along the Golf Links Road, through Ballinamore and onwards passing Lock 5 Ardrum finishing a Aghoo Bride.

Alternatively, you can start at Ballinamore Marina and take the shorter 4.5 km loop, passing Lock 5 before looping around at Longstones and back to Ballinamore.
